  I'm sure it's a nice church and nice people but I was very turned off by my visit.
  
  I was asked to move twice by the ushers, and if sitting alone between 2 people I didn't know in a squished seat wasn't already enough, there's "Connect" time at the beginning where you have to talk to your neighbors. A new anxious person's nightmare. Moreover so many announcers kept to trying to push merchandise. Felt like more of a show than church.
  
  If you're shy or get anxious going to church alone, don't go here.

  The real deal! City Church Chicago is a bible believing, soul winning, Christ centered church, full of love for people and Jesus. Excellent children's ministry where kids learn about Jesus on their level. The pastors have vision to build the church for the glory of God. Pastor Kent and Alli are amazing! I have grown in my walk with the Lord and have seen the blessings pour over in my life by being connected to a authentic ministry. There is no other church I would want to call home.

  Awesome Church. What's really awesome is when I was first invited to go here for a visit. I was given just the address and I knew the address was very familiar and could figure out why till I got here. Turns out I used to visit this same place when I was in the world as a nightclub. God is hilarious. Not only will he change you he will change the places you used to go.
