  I have learned that Lifeway Christian Stores are non-for-profit and I didn't know that before! I also learned that a portion of the money from this Chicago store goes to Moody Bible Institute as well as supporting Southern Baptist missionaries on the field. Not only that, I also found out Lifeway buyers purchased product from an organization called FreeSet, who work to get women out of the sex-slave trade by giving them jobs. These women make purses, bracelets, tote bags, and keychains. I feel great about supporting Lifeway as well as the ministries they support!

  I have been going to this location for the last 2 years and each time I visited I felt something but never knew exactly what. Today I read a review which gave credence to my feelings. No one is out and out rude, but you can feel the presence of an unwelcome spirit.
  Today I met with a salesperson who had a spirit come over her as I entered the lower level and asked for a Kay Arthur bible study.
  She was initially curt with an undertone or a duty to be pleasant. Let me first say I offer grace to everyone and I am not a mean person. BUT this salesperson rubbed me the wrong way INITIALLY. She asked me for the title after I had already given it to her, but it was the way she asked me, as if I had no idea what I wanted, or the REAL title. I reiterated the title and she began to soften and help me in the way she was trained.
  While I enjoy the store and all of its resources for most every bible study available they REALLY should take a class on diversity and look at Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
  
  I will give this location one more visit to pick up the book I ordered, which Audrey says will arrive in a week, after that if I don't feel genuine customer service for the workers there I will give my money to another vendor.
