  I enjoyed the welcoming feel in the congregation. They're temporarily meeting at a nearby elementary school's gym. The space was a little loud for me, but they thoughtfully provided earplugs for my comfort.
  I did enjoy the worship service and the welcome I received. Thank you.

  I have lived in Chicago for 6 years and visited many churches. I finally found my home here at Soul City Church. Beautiful modern, lofty feel once you walk thru the door. You are then greeted by wonderful people. It's definitely a younger crowd ranging from mid 20's to the 40's. The band was incredible! Alternative band with soul! Love the Pastors! YouTube Soulcity church and take a listen for yourself.

  The entire experience is amazing. It's truly an opportunity to start or continue your transformational relationship with God. Soul City is an excellent example of a modern day church.

  Very diverse crowd that is more slanted toward general good morality than bible-thumping/robe-wearing gospel. Also, the kids program is great. Love our church and can't wait for the expansion!

  God is everywhere but always in Soul City Church. He made this place my home on accident. I was lost in spirit while walking around the neighborhood. I stumbled onto a corner where I saw a 7-11 and a purple building getting remodeled. I walked into it not knowing what I'd find. I cried like a baby, because then I knew God said COME IN. Everyone is great here! What I loved much from what was preached during prayer session, "the first thing you should feel when you walk in is welcomed, no matter what your about and those who may make you feel that your not, they need to get more acquainted themselves with our church, they'll get there." I love this because we all get a little possessive with things even our place of worship but to break borders and really care for one another the place is just so much more powerful and I feel it in my bones. Through good and bad our God is alive!
