  I rarely write reviews but I had to because the entire staff at AA Rayner & Sons Funeral Home was so very professional yet passionate and caring through the painful process of lying my only son to rest. No matter what my needs and request were during and after his services they obliged without hesitation. I'd heard and experienced, through others, horror stories so I intentionally looked for a funeral home unfamiliar to me. I viewed many. AA Rayner & Sons Funeral Home are now like family to me because they treated my loss with the respect and dignity it deserved. Thank you so very much.

  There were a couple of hiccups that occurred due to a lack of communication between the staff itself...prior to services starting I discussed with our funeral director what I expected during our tribute that involved using equipment provided by the funeral home and I thought the funeral director had it down but during the time the tribute was to occur another staff member not associated with the service appeared out of the blue and took it upon themselve to start the tribute before it was time and thus caused a minor disruption to the flow ...which is why I was reluctant to use equipment provided by the funeral home...so there needs to be better communication between their staff and their roles. Overall the level of service was acceptable and there were no other issues but when u take the time to address how u want something to take place the day before and then u show up early the day of and go over in detail with the funeral director ur expectations and then someone completely disconnected without asking any questions takes it upon themselves to do something it is a little irritating and had that not happened my rating would have been higher.
